The Joint Chamber is specifically designed to be installed in the footway for inductive loop joints. The chamber has a frameless ductile iron cover (B125 loading). The cover locates within a recess in the top of the preformed chamber, therefore negating the need for a frame. Removing the cover enables inductive loops to be cut through the kerb and directly into the chamber without the traditional risk of damage to the frame.
