News - NAL support Bobath Dragon Boat Challenge

NAL were pleased to sponsor the boat for Glasgow City Traffic Signals Department. The event is organised to raise money for Bobath Scotland who run therapy sessions for children with Cerebral Palsy at no cost to their families. It was a great day and enjoyed by all. "The Traffic team triumphed over our Parking and Management teams - by a country mile. The Traffic team are the ones wearing the traffic cones. You can see us in the sponsored boat below. We were 5th overall with a time of 1' 22" 27 and beaten for a place in the final by 1/100th of a second! Sailor Simon Cook was press-ganged into our boat for the first race but he was rescued at the last minute.

I have to advise, with disappointment, that the sponsored boat was the only one to capsize, thankfully we were not in it at the time. It was great day with the sun, the fun, the capsizing and the fight in one of the other teams. We hope to raise £2,500."
