The SIS SOLO (Mini) has been installed on a passively safe signage scheme on the M56 near Manchester. The client (AONE+Area 10) chose this SIS Electrical disconnection system as it enabled all the SIS  monitoring equipment to be installed above ground in the nearby lighting column.

As the new signs were being powered from this non passive lighting column, it enabled the SIS sensor cable and Sensor to be easily installed as part of the works. The end product leaves the client with an economical, above ground, zero volt electrical disconnection system which is simple and safe to maintain.
