Case Study - 4 POLE ELECTRICAL DISCONNECTION & FOUNDATION SYSTEM
SIS Multi & RS200 | Bromsgrove...
The SIS (Multi Underground) has been installed on a Passively Safe Street Lighting Scheme near Bromsgrove. The Client, Worcestershire County Council, chose this particular SIS Electrical Disconnection as it enabled 4nr individual SIS monitoring units to be housed in one underground STAKKAbox Access chamber. As the scheme involved a roundabout with 4 nodes, all the lighting columns on each node had only one Access chamber housing 4nr individual SIS Zero volt electrical disconnection systems. The chamber was situated to the back of the footway to ensure the safety of the maintenance personnel. The system offers many costs, installation and maintenance benefits. All Passive Safe Columns were installed in RS200 Tee Bend Retention Sockets to enable easy loop in-loop out of cables and the ability to remove and replace any impacted columns if needed.
