Case Study - BRIDGEDECK RETENTION SOCKETS FOR SHALLOW FOUNDATIONS

RS193BD | Westminster...

The Street Lighting Department of Westminster Council have constant problems installing their street lighting columns. They struggle to achieve the standard planting depth due to cellars, underground services and even coal shoots. To date they have used a cranked root to overcome these installation issues, however these come with their own installation issues.

More recently they have used the NAL Bridgedeck Retention Socket with a planting depth of 300mm to overcome these problems. This allowed a quicker, safer installation also ensuring traffic and pedestrian management was kept to a minimum. The lighting columns were then installed at a later date.
