Retention Sockets installed in a modular paved footway with a gradient may require the installation of an RS Drop Kerb Wedge.

This is a superficial casting which is secured to the top of the Retention Socket allowing it to be positioned in line with the surrounding ground surface.

A Retro Fit Drop Kerb Wedge is also available for installation after a pole has been installed into the Retention Socket.

This simplifies the installation of the Retention Socket in tapered surfaces while ensuring posts remain vertical.
