One of the many issues facing traffic engineers today is the potential hazards and costs caused by vehicle collision or vandalism to internally illuminated traffic bollards.

The RS Socket, manufactured in Ductile Iron, allows all civils works to be completed prior to the installation of the tough, stylish, reboundable and reflective WEEBOL bollard. This combination of the WEEBOL bollard and the RS Socket allows for easy replacement should it be necessary. In extreme cases of a damaged WEEBOL bollard, the RS50x50 Socket allows removal and replacement within minutes without the need for costly and disruptive excavations or special tools. This in turn reduces the cost of repair and the potential risk to maintenance personnel and road users.

The WEEBOL bollard is manufactured in tough medium density polyethylene with Diamond grade reflective panels which are rebated into the faces, offering added protection from vehicular impact. The RS50x50 Socket and WEEBOL bollard are both designed to withstand repeated knockdowns.
