Project Description

Non-illuminated, Malvern Guardrail

Retention Socket Non-illuminated

The NAL Surface Mounted Retention Socket system was chosen by Worcestershire County Council for the installation and future-proofing of a guardrail on a Puffin crossing in Malvern.

In the event of a knockdown the Retention Socket allows the damaged guardrail to be removed and replaced in as little as 12 minutes saving the local authority time and money. By removing the need for excavations and requiring minimal TM, disruption to the public is kept to a minimum allowing normal operation to continue.
