Glasgow City Council opted for the NAL Composite Detector Chamber for housing a Siemens wireless magnetometer in the carriageway of Stepps Road.
The quick installation is made up of three simple steps, the core drill excavation, the installation of the chamber and reinstatement with bitumen sealant. This installation is completed in 20 minutes causing minimum disruption to the public.
The composite material of the chamber allows the wireless signal to travel to the receiver uninterrupted. The optional red lid makes the chamber highly visible to avoid damage during re-surfacing works.
