With the ever-increasing number of cyclists in urbanised areas, Transport for London (TFL) opted to use the NAL Cycle Signal Pole at cycle segregation junctions on the Victoria Embankment.
The system was installed within a Retention Socket allowing a simple dismount when required. Furthermore, it offers a low-level termination point with the NAL Termination Enclosure installed within a flush fitting access door. This enables all installation and maintenance works to be carried out safely at ground level.
To resolve the moisture problems encountered with traditional illuminated columns, the system has an integrated vented pole cap to allow a constant air flow, thus preventing condensation from occurring within.
